Travelodge by Wyndham Kingman

The rooms have been updated recently by the new owner, and you can really tell. Housekeeping also does a nice job keeping them clean. It's right off the highway and reasonably priced. Give it a try if you're in the area.

Being a budget place, it's a little worn down. The curtains wouldn't close properly, and the bathroom had just a third of a toilet paper roll and the bare minimum of towels. When I asked about it, I was told two people didn't need a full roll, but they did bring one after I requested it. The desk clerk was filling in for someone on vacation. The location was a plus, with easy access to services nearby.

The new owner was very nice and accommodating, and the mattresses were so comfortable. Our rooms were consistently clean, and renovations are underway. The hotel was perfectly placed for us at the end of the strip, with easy freeway access. We'd definitely stay again.

Bugs in the bathroom sink, a fridge door that wouldn't stay shut, and metal around the bed that kept falling down made for a disgusting room. The manager started out nice, then changed once I complained. They wouldn't refund me, and the manager hung up when I called. Corporate told me the hotel is privately owned and they couldn't help. What a horrible stay and awful customer service. I won't stay at another Travelodge.
