Ferrari's Crown Resort

We still haven't received a reply to our email, even though Crown responded to this review. We called three times on different days with no answer. The staff member we spoke to twice the morning of the incident promised to help, and Crown staff said they'd contact someone from the Ferrari family who was still at the hotel. We hope someone can at least connect us with the guest who likely damaged our vehicle. Our vehicle had significant damage, most likely from a green truck backing out. We are certain the owner was attending the Ferrari Family reunion because there was a “Ferrari North Tahoe” hat on the dashboard. The hotel has no cameras. Most guests there that weekend were attending the reunion, so they could easily trace who owned the truck by checking the rooms in that building. We didn't get an email saying they'd tried, just a response after we posted an honest review. 👎 For context, the Ferrari family is prominent in North Tahoe and formerly owned the Crown Motel. Our main complaint is how little help or response the hotel gave us about damage apparently caused by another guest.

Stepping straight from our room onto the sandy shore was great, and restaurants, shops, and coffee places were only a three-minute walk away. The location is hard to beat. We had a quiet, quick Tahoe break at Crown Motel, from check-in through checkout. The price was great, and the views from our room were incredible. I'd definitely suggest a Lakeview room.

The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up, and our room is right on the beach. The service was excellent, and we'll definitely return. A quieter A/C would make things better. I also wish the patio door were beside the breakfast table. That would make this room the best around.

With two little kids, it was so handy to have the beach playground, coffee, and places for breakfast and dinner all a short walk away. Our room was clean, the location was great, and the staff were really kind. Devora and Emma were especially lovely. This was our first stay here, and we'll be back.
