The parking was okay, but the stay was rough. The room had no elevator access, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut, so there was no privacy. The ceiling was peeling, and the mattress cover had fresh yellow stains and lots of hair on it. The heating and air unit was loud even at 75 degrees, and I couldn't sleep well. Breakfast only ran from 6 to 9, which wasn't convenient. The free water tasted salty, maybe the filter needed changing. A nail sticking out of the recliner snagged and damaged my favorite coat. I booked at the last minute for one night, needed to check in after midnight, and wanted somewhere decent that wouldn't cost a fortune. I'm not picky, but I know the difference between quality and laziness. The staff seemed lazy. This felt like a two-star motel.

The hotel worked well for what we needed, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, too. My one suggestion is to put some investment into the gym, though hotel gyms often aren't maintained very well.

We stayed in room 107 for a short visit before our multi-day backpacking trip on Cumberland Island. The young woman at the desk was friendly, and the room was clean. My wife and I do this trip as often as we can, usually once a year, and we've tried nearly every hotel at this exit. After talking it over, we decided this is our favorite and plan to book here, preferably room 107, whenever we come to Cumberland Island from now on.

The staff were so cordial that I felt welcome right away. The hotel is lovely and easy to reach from I-95. I'll definitely stop here again on my way back to Pennsylvania. Thank you!

The room was quiet and clean, and Cracker Barrel is conveniently close. We stayed at this Baymont two years ago and chose it again this time. The WiFi, though, was terrible.
