We stayed at Mariners Suites for an extended visit since our daughter and son-in-law live in St. Mary’s, and it really did feel like a home away from home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, with an eclectic feel, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. We loved having room to spread out and can’t wait to return. The staff made the stay feel personal. They remembered our names, offered local suggestions, and checked in regularly. The grounds are beautifully maintained, too. It’s an older hotel, so don’t expect everything to be perfect, but the value at this price is outstanding. We got more than we expected and had a wonderful stay.

The room showed some age and wear, but it hadn’t been neglected. Pricing was great, and staff contacted me thoroughly about what to expect after hours. We had a good experience and enjoyed the area.

The front desk woman was nice and refunded us, so service was 4/5. But we’d booked the family suite and found bugs on top of the sheets and in the bed, with spiders crawling around the windows. The rooms were 0/5.

We were counting on a relaxing weekend with a pool and pool table, since we like playing pool, but the pool had apparently been closed for quite a while, since May. There was only a ping pong table and some other thing I couldn’t identify. Nobody told us these things weren’t available when we booked. It ruined the weekend, and we’ll be contesting the bill.

I stayed at Mariner Suites for a month and a half while my house was being remodeled, and felt right at home. The suites were spotless, and the common areas and my room were comfortable places to spend time. The amenities made the long stay easy. The staff were friendly and respectful, and their support for the troops was clear. They made an effort to keep me comfortable and added thoughtful touches along the way. My experience was outstanding, and I’d recommend Mariner Suites to anyone looking for a clean, supportive place to stay. Thanks for making it a wonderful temporary home.
