Suburban Studios Hotel Kingsland Near I-95

The room was clean and I had a nice stay, though the place could use some upkeep. The bathroom sink's access panel had fallen off, and rust surrounded the bathroom light. The staff were very friendly, and when I called to ask what kind of pillows they use because I slept so well on them, the front desk clerk tried hard to find out but couldn't. Thanks for going the extra mile. It wasn't a bad stay.

I didn't feel safe there and left after cancelling my reservation. The outside was filthy, and in my room it looked like someone had been lying on the bed; there were ashes in the toilet too. People were hanging around outside and living in a car. The man at the desk was nice and apologized, but I've traveled all over the world and never seen a place this bad that made me feel I had to leave.

The floor was so dirty that after five minutes of letting my daughter crawl around, she was covered in dirt and needed a bath. The room was muggy, everything felt wet, and there was mold on the ceiling. It smelled awful, even after I bought several air fresheners. There wasn't any toilet paper, and the washer and dryer couldn't be used. I didn't trust the bedding enough to get under the covers. Just a horrible stay. Don't waste your money here.

We got a great rate for five nights through the Choice hotel website, and the room was better than I expected. The kitchenette had a sink, two burners, dishes, and a couple of small appliances, while the fridge and freezer were impressively large. The full-size trash can was handy for our family of four. Everyone I dealt with on staff was helpful and gave great service. Lisa at the front desk helped me with a few things and gave me information about staying another week. She was also juggling a phone customer and someone who had just walked in, but still took the time to help me book our next stay. I really appreciated her friendly, kind spirit. Thanks to Lisa and the rest of the staff at Surburban/Quality Inn & Suites for making this a great experience.
