Travel Inn Kingsport

I prepaid online and won't come back. I wanted to soak in a tub, but the guy at the desk said none of their rooms have one, only showers. The bathroom plug and light switch don't work, the blanket is stained, and the sink is clogged. The AC was so clogged with dirt, including the filter, that it wouldn't blow cold until I wiped it off. Housekeeping seems rushed or inexperienced. And the best part, visitors aren't allowed at all, so if you're visiting someone, you can't even invite them over for an hour.

The sheets had holes and looked dirty, there were holes in the walls, cobwebs all over, and what looked like bed bug signs under the mattress. The Wi-Fi password was scrawled on the back of the door. The room felt like a crack den, so I left within 30 seconds of entering. I’d arrived from out of state at 8 pm, and with the office shut I had to talk to the owners through a little slot in the side of the building. When I asked for my money back, they offered another room, then argued with me. They eventually said they’d refund me but still charge a “booking fee.” Now I have to spend the morning calling my credit card company to make sure I’m not charged unfairly. Stay far away from this place.

I handed in my key and left after just 10 minutes in that disgusting place. They absolutely will not refund the money, even if you find drugs in your room.

We called it the “Bates Motel” because it was awful. There was mold, blood on the light fixtures, and no waste baskets. The office was barely open, and there was no internet, along with several other disgusting things. Do not stay here!
