I slipped in the tub and hurt my arm. The bathroom looked cheap and the tub was extremely slippery. The pool area was freezing because they had no heat on. When I called the front desk that night to complain about the broken smoke detector, nobody answered. I called again the next morning and still got no answer. I arrived with my kids, ages 3 and 1, after a three-hour drive, and we were restless waiting in the lobby for someone to check us in. Eventually someone came over from their car outside. We stayed a couple of nights. On the second day, I expected housekeeping to clean, but they never came, even though we were out for hours. We had a lot of diaper trash. When I called Saturday night, exhausted along with my kids, the front desk finally answered and said room service should have cleaned. They offered to move us, but I didn’t take the new room because moving all our things with two small children was too much trouble. I’ll never stay there again. I don’t recommend it.

I spent three nights at Quality Inn NY-28. The room seemed okay overall, though the shower curtain didn’t fit properly, there was no microwave, and the refrigerator was loud. I asked for a better fitting curtain and a microwave, and the front desk provided both. The customer service was alright, and the stay wasn’t too bad. There’s no housekeeping on weekends. The property badly needs repairs and looks like it may be closing down. Do your research before booking.

We checked in, took one look at the room, and left. It was dirty, the fridge had garbage left by what we assume were previous guests, and the beds looked unsanitary. The property was run down throughout, and this wasn’t a cheap motel, so the price wasn’t acceptable for that condition. The check-in itself was a mess, with a long wait while the desk dealt with a large group of disabled guests who had booked saying they used wheelchairs, but were given rooms on the second floor in a hotel with no elevator. The staff argued with one another repeatedly. We even missed the turn coming in because the hotel shares a parking lot with a car dealership. We cancelled and left. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The pool looked so bad I wouldn’t go near it. The reception area was dirty and outdated, and while the free coffee worked, the hot water didn’t. The creamer was empty and dried out, who knows for how long. The coffee pot in the room was too dirty to use, there was no microwave, and we had to borrow dish soap. It didn’t look like they had cleaning chemicals on site either. This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. The linens had cigarette holes, the toilet was stained and gross, there was no Wi-Fi or remote, and the air felt dusty and poor quality. Non-smoking rooms were surrounded by people smoking pot and cigarettes. There was no housekeeping inside or out. Staff were creepy and rude. The guy at the front desk seemed so glued to his computer that I wondered if he was watching people in their rooms, but I don’t know. You’d be better off sleeping in your car.
