Peter Allen Inn & Event Center

The reservation was for 5 at the Inn, but when we arrived, we were told they wouldn’t seat anyone until 5:45. We ended up waiting and were moved to the Tavern. If a reservation has to be pushed back, shouldn’t they call? Isn’t that why they take your phone number? The waiter only gave us two word answers, though he did okay. He just didn’t seem very engaged. The food, on the other hand, was excellent. We had three filets and one flat iron, all cooked perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were awesome, and the bruschetta was very good too.

Our server Abby was the best! My wife and I live nearby, and we love having a place like this away from the hustle and bustle of more urban options. The food and drink specials are awesome, and we’ll keep making the Peter Allen Inn our first choice for a great dining experience.

The Stone Cottage went beyond what I expected, with top notch accommodations and no expense spared in its design and furnishings. Dinner was excellent, and the bottle of wine we bought for the table was delicious. I’ll come back as often as I can.

Angela, our waitress, was the best, and we enjoyed lunch at the tavern after stopping by to pick up gift cards. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. Kinsman is a bit off the beaten path, but its history and charm make it worth the trip. We’ll be back.
