AC Hotel by Marriott Las Vegas Symphony Park

We came for a youth hockey tournament, and the hotel was conveniently close to most Las Vegas attractions while far enough from the Strip to be quieter. The staff were extremely helpful, even booking a conference room for our team dinner. Everything was very clean with contemporary decor. Our room was a little small, but beautiful and comfortable. We’d definitely come back.

After another hotel lost my reservation, I was tired from a full day of travel and just wanted an easy check-in. I found the AC Hotel through the Bonvoy app, and the staff made the whole thing painless. Latoria at the front desk was friendly, efficient, and professional. Ash at the bar was awesome too, a great bartender who knows how to pour a drink. Kudos to management for hiring them, and to everyone I met who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

The rooms are clean and have everything needed for a longer stay. This place felt upscale compared with where we’d been staying lately, and it has a restaurant, bar, breakfast, and lots of conference rooms. Staff service was mixed, some were friendly and helpful, while a few interactions were rude. The food was delicious but pricey, and my receipt showed more than the menu price. Also, avoid rooms facing the front, especially in the middle, because you can hear traffic and people talking. I know which room I won’t pick next time.

The staff seemed new and were dismissive, often unsure what was going on and asking each other for help. I stayed the whole month, but won’t be back, and I’ll tell my company to book somewhere else. They charged me twice, over $800, and I have to wait seven days to get my money back each time. Parking was another mess. You pay $35 and are meant to park on the second floor, but it’s public parking, and events take up the spaces. Event parking is only $6, so when I arrived at 9 pm the second floor was full and I had to go to the third. Once, the shower door got stuck, and when I called maintenance they forgot about me. I called again after an hour and someone finally came. The water also took 15 minutes to get hot. My fridge had mold inside, which grossed me out so much I didn’t want to eat the yogurts I’d put in it.
