Two weeks after I made a second, more expensive reservation, I received a note denying the refund I’d been promised for the first one, even though I’d been told I’d get it despite the non-refund policy. The booking page said pets were allowed for a fee, but when the person I booked for arrived, the hotel said a separate reservation was needed for a "pet" room. The desk had called me and promised to refund the original booking, which is why I booked again. This whole experience showed a serious lack of customer service and felt deceptive. My conclusion is that the website may be set up to cause mistakes, leaving people stuck at the hotel and pushed into making another booking on a refund promise. I also wonder if this is done to double bookings and increase revenue.

This motel still has work to do, but I like it. Management and staff are trying to make the atmosphere better, and I have a lot of good memories here.

The staff were great and so helpful, and the room was really nice and big. But at $70 a night, I could have stayed home instead of fighting baby roaches. They’re infested with them. I thought about eating the breakfast, then absolutely not. I need a discount. Never again.

I was here for two days because of an unfortunate situation, and I’m not from this area. The place was quiet, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Police sat outside and waited for me to get to my car, then interrogated my husband and me and searched our car because they thought we had narcotics. They found nothing, and when we asked why, they said it was because of the environment. I also saw a couple of roaches in the room. Honestly, 2 out of 10.
