Best Western Plus Olympic Inn

The evening cookies and milk were a nice treat for the whole family, and the coffee machine made espresso, cappuccino, and cafe latte. Breakfast was filling, with everything from make-your-own waffles to really good biscuits and gravy. We stopped here on a long drive with kids, and our room with two queen beds was clean and affordable.

The staff are great, the lobby feels welcoming, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The one downside is the noise if you get a room at the back facing the neighborhood. Think tractor pulls mixed with Great Value Fast and Furious and a '90s music revival concert. Edit: meh, you folks deserve a 5. It's not your fault. See you again.

I keep coming back because of the location, and the rooms are spacious, but many have loose toilets. The hot tub has been in this condition for literally months. It feels like a regular Best Western to me, not a PLUS that justifies the premium cost. At half the price, it would be fine. Breakfast is another frustration: they have two people on it, but they seem to spend the whole time talking together instead of watching what guests need. Items often run out or aren't restocked, and once they didn't even have plates until a guest searched the cabinets and found some. Maybe one person could handle breakfast and focus on service.

The staff are wonderful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed a couple of times in August, and the hot breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool was clean, though the hot tub was out of commission at the time. It's handy for several areas of interest, with Fred Meyers within walking distance and a local bus stop right outside for a ride downtown. Of the Best Western locations I've visited, this is one of the best. I highly recommend it. Thank you.
