Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Klamath Falls

The lakefront trail is right outside, and downtown Klamath Falls is nice. The location on the shore of Lake Ewauna is hard to beat, and there’s ample parking. The hotel was built in 2020, feels brand new, and is well maintained. Everything was clean, and the shower pressure was strong, which you can’t always count on. Breakfast was decent. Ask for a lake-view suite. Highly recommended.

I got less than three hours of sleep because the kids next door screamed, kicked the walls, and slammed doors in the middle of the night. I called the desk, but the same guy did nothing. It’s the hotel’s responsibility to keep guests in check, and this one didn’t. Earlier, when I asked the night desk guy to hold my employee’s room because they were checking in a day late, he gave me attitude. I’ve never had a hotel make this difficult. I wasn’t asking for a refund, but that’s what he kept talking about.

The clerk was very helpful, and the continental breakfast was pretty good, especially the excellent waffles. There’s also a pool. The hotel is clean and new, right downtown on Lake Ewauna. The beds were comfortable, and you get a nice view if you’re on the lake side. Restaurants are within walking distance, and there are plenty of trails along the lake and down to the nearby park. This is where I stay when I visit Klamath Falls.

The price was decent and the lake setting is kinda cool, but the walls are so thin I could hear the guy next door snoring. The ceiling sensor’s strobe light in the room was brutal too. I’m not sure I’d stay again.
