Home2 Suites Knoxville West

The room was large, with plenty of space and fairly modern furnishings. The lobby was nice, and the free breakfast waffles were really good. Still, it felt a bit expensive for the problems we ran into. The comforters were pretty gross. Some had stains that looked like marker or blood, and others had holes or were coming apart, almost as if they’d been gnawed on. Hot water worked, but the temperature kept fluctuating during showers.

The employees were nice and often checked in by text, and the lobby was clean. I also liked that they take Polaroid pictures of pets and put them on the hallway board. Breakfast was okay, though it could use more protein. The property itself is older than most Home2Suites locations and had trash and cigarettes scattered around. Getting there meant cutting through a random restaurant parking lot. Our first-floor room was old, dusty, and smelled bad, with poor lighting. The toilet seat kept shifting, and the door was hard to open and didn’t sit right. The rooms badly need renovation. Our two nights weren’t terrible, but it was just enough to get by. We’d probably choose somewhere else if we’re in the area again.

I stay here every week, and Home2 Suites has become my home away from home. Ms. Debra deserves a special mention for her consistently warm hospitality and top-tier service. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location makes it easy to get to everything I need. A dependable, comfortable place to stay, and one I highly recommend.

The room was kept very well, though we did find some dead bugs. The walls are thin enough that I could hear the neighbor coughing all night. The hotel was about what I expected overall. We were in town on vacation, and getting to the hotel was a little awkward since you have to go through the back of another restaurant’s parking lot.
