We couldn’t get any rest with ten stray cats meowing at our door all night, and getting in or out meant wading through them. It was a nightmare. The “breakfast” was awful too: the cereal was stale, and the cooked food tasted as if Pine-Sol had been mixed into it. When I booked online, the house rules said only children using a cot would incur an extra charge, and children under five were free. But my card was charged a $100 deposit that hadn’t been disclosed when booking. The next morning, management had a housekeeper call our room to hassle us about paying for four kids, though we had two children and one toddler, age four, who should have been free. We went to the office to ask for a refund for the second night because of the cats and the extra charges we hadn’t known about. Management refused to come help us, and also refused the refund, saying we hadn’t given 24 hours’ notice. The best they offered was not charging the extra $32 for the kids for the second night. They said nothing could be done about the cats because people just drop them off and leave them. We definitely won’t book here again. Don’t stay if you don’t want hidden fees and charges.

The continental breakfast was pretty good, and it wasn’t crowded even with a fishing tournament in the area. The warmer wasn’t very hot, so I’d use the microwave to heat up the biscuits and gravy and eggs.

We booked three rooms for a recent road trip. The staff were very nice, the rooms were clean, and the price was affordable. The outside reminded me of the family-run hotels you see in movies from decades ago, while the rooms inside are nice and modern. We’ll be back, and I’d recommend it.

I’ve stayed at this beautiful hotel twice and have made a third reservation. The rooms are very clean and look fresh, and the staff are so friendly and nice. For the price, you even get a decent breakfast.

Our room was large and comfortable, with parking right outside the door. I liked the walk-in shower and the refillable shampoo and soap, a nice touch for the environment. Breakfast included eggs, sausage and biscuits, plus yogurt and cold cereal. The room was well insulated, so we didn’t hear other guests leaving. A wonderful place to stay.
