I like staying here when money is tight, and the staff are very nice. It's family owned, and they'll work with you if you're staying more than one day and can't pay at checkout. The place isn't fancy or especially updated, but at $50 a night, that's not what I'd expect. About the reports of needles in beds: I know a woman whose child was poked by one. She later learned a guest she'd had in her room had left it there. Before bashing the place, know the whole story. The staff may keep a close eye on people because some guests are disrespectful or up to no good, and they do their best to keep those people from staying.

We stayed Sunday, July 17. The clerk quoted $65, but charged my card $75. The TV wouldn't work, and he said they'd just installed new cable boxes. He tried to fix it, couldn't, then called the cable company and handed me the phone to deal with the technician. After ten minutes on hold, the tech tried to help, but neither of us could get the box to turn on. The desk clerk had disappeared, so I went to the office and asked him to handle the problem. We were told one cheap rate over the phone, then got a completely different price when we arrived. While we were still moving our things in, they said we couldn't bring in anything else. They saw us bring food and said we weren't allowed to cook either. There's no AC, so expect to be hot day and probably night. Go somewhere else.
