The kids had a great time, especially with the bench swing in the backyard and the cemetery out front. The owner was super nice and even waited for us when we arrived late for check-in. It was an easy short walk to the main street, too. My only gripe was the bed, which wasn't very comfortable, and the pillows felt too thin.

The owner was really friendly, and I appreciated him holding a room for us after we checked out when our plans changed and we couldn't find a room back in town. We ended up not needing it, but I'd definitely stay there again. The place was lovely and clean while we were visiting VC.

We got a beautiful sunrise out back during our short overnight stay. The room was spotless and had a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, and communication about our late evening check-in was excellent. The drive from Reno was beautiful, and the inn just beyond the cute old mining town was a nice place to stay.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I expected fewer amenities in VC, but this place suited the area and what we wanted really well, with a small-town rustic feel. Definitely recommend.

Very nice place, and I'd absolutely stay again. I found the parking area a little tight for my truck, as it's better suited to smaller vehicles. There were no USB charging ports in the room, which I really needed after forgetting to pack one.
