Blue Way Inn & Suites La Crosse

This place was really bad. Water leaked from the ceilings, the shower wouldn't drain, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The pool was out of order, and there were no ice or vending machines. Most of the time nobody was at the front desk. I wouldn't recommend it.

Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and the staff were always friendly, polite, and ready to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant, comfortable visit. I'll definitely come back.

We were visiting family in La Crosse and only needed a place to sleep. After a long drive, we arrived at 2 a.m. and stayed because otherwise we would've left. The hallways were dirty, the carpet ripped and worn with visible dirt, and the smell was gross. Getting checked in took about half an hour. We had to call a number for help, though nobody answered, then someone appeared behind the desk. They had to call somebody else to get the computer working. I'd called earlier to say we would arrive late. The room had new floors, beds, and a TV, but that was where the good ended. The bathroom was disgusting, with permanent tub stains and broken pieces, and no toilet paper. We had to ask for some and got attitude from the desk. Back in the room, there wasn't even a trash can. When we pulled back the covers, there was a long black hair on the sheets, though none of us have black hair. We were too tired to complain and, since we hadn't overpaid, decided to make the best of it. It looked even worse in daylight. The window behind the curtains was broken and had once been taped. We might have switched rooms or complained, but I'm not sure it would've changed anything. I can tell the owners are trying to improve the hotel, but there's a long way to go. I'd wait until all the improvements are done before staying.

We checked in by phone, then got a room when we arrived. The beds were stained, the windows were unlocked and had no screens, and there was no food service, just a wall of chips and warm soda. The guy at the desk looked like he'd just crawled out of bed. Security doors were propped open, and upstairs there were drip buckets, mold, and taped-up doors. We left and got no reimbursement. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Beware.
