The front desk team were courteous, professional, and helpful, and the hotel and rooms were well maintained. Getting a whole suite for the rate I paid was great value, so I'll stay here again next time I'm in La Crosse. I also really appreciated the classic complimentary breakfast, which so many other hotels are unfortunately getting rid of. Five stars for that by itself, honestly.

The holiday decorations and fireplace made the place feel so welcoming. Our family had a wonderful weekend, and the kids and our grandchild had a great time in the pool. Being so close to Rotary Lights was a favorite, with no long waits or parking hassles. Everyone we met, from the front desk to breakfast and housekeeping, was friendly and helpful, went out of their way to greet us, and offered assistance. We'll definitely be back.

I was really impressed, especially as someone who travels solo a lot. The room was spacious and very clean, and I loved having a separate bedroom in the suite. There was a fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher too. Every staff interaction, from the front desk to maintenance and the cleaning crew, was upbeat and positive. GrandStay is downtown, near the water, and made a great weekend getaway. I came down from MN for the 2-Day Riverfront Revolt concert, and I plan to come back when it's warmer so I can explore around. I'll book here again on my next road trip to see La Crosse!

The suite was awesome, the food was pretty good, and the river was within walking distance. My room didn't have a river view, which was a bit of a letdown, but the price for a suite was reasonable. Walking in felt like stepping into a Christmas movie, with all the decorations still up even though Christmas had already passed. I did find some stains and crumbs under the couch.

We were in town for work and the staff made sure we were well looked after. Thanks, Kyle and Traci. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, neat and clean when we arrived, and everything in them worked well. We liked the kitchenette, especially the full-size fridge and extra sink. Dishes and a dishwasher were provided, though we didn't cook much. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and hot, and the room air conditioning worked great even when it was -25 outside several times. Breakfast was out every day at 6, with a decent selection. There was also a clean pool and hot tub, and the hotel had just gotten new locks. The location is close to the river and downtown, with several places to eat within walking distance. Great location, nice hotel, and awesome staff. I'd definitely stay again.
