We stayed in the Wyman suite for a romantic anniversary, and the room was beautiful, with a living room area and a fireplace that really set the mood. Michelle used to work there and had a bottle of wine waiting for us. She showed us around, then gave us privacy. In the morning she made what I think was the most amazing breakfast I've ever had. I still crave the bacon she made and can't seem to get it right myself! She made our stay special. It's definitely a place to see, and I'll stay again. I just hope the new keep is as good as the last. Thank you for this little diamond in la porte!

I love this place and plan to come back whenever I get the chance. It's the most relaxing place I've stayed, and well worth a visit if you're in the Houston area. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm in town. The owners know so much about the history of the house and Laport Texas. It's a 100-year-old Victorian-style home, and the history alone makes it worth a stay. Come check it out!
