Staybridge Suites Lafayette by IHG

The setting was quiet and felt safe, with tidy grounds outside. Staff were friendly and polite, housekeeping did a great job, and both the pool and public bathrooms were clean. Our two bedroom suite had two queens, one king, and two bathrooms. It was beautiful, and the breakfast in the morning was nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Lafayette LA Airport. We’ll stay again. Five stars. Robert Hufnagel, New York.

The hot tub wasn’t hot, and I could hear and feel other guests’ sounds and vibrations more than I’d expect in a place this nice. Don’t count on the freezer making much ice, either; you’ll hear the next batch drop. Still, it was a very nice stay and I’d come back. The staff were friendly, helpful, and thoughtful, and the amenities were good. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, likely from a mix rather than shelled, sausage, fresh fruit including bananas, strawberries, apples, and oranges, scones, bagels, waffles, Greek yogurt with toppings, juice, coffee, and paper bags to take it to go. The room had USB plugs in several places, including by the bed, nice furnishings, and a well equipped kitchenette. There was a putting green and basketball court combo, an outdoor BBQ grill, a manager’s reception on Mtw, and checkout was at 12 p.m. Weekend breakfast ended at 10:30. Good shower pressure. I’d give it 4.5 stars.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean, quiet, and had spacious rooms. The TV channel lineup was good, with premium channels included, and rates were reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. I believe they also have nice suppers and gatherings with complimentary beer and wine Monday through Wednesday.

The pool area stayed clean and inviting, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices each morning. My room looked great, as did the rest of the recently renovated Staybridge Suites Lafayette Louisiana. The hospitality and service were first class. I had a wonderful stay.
