Please accept my humble apology. I would really appreciate forgiveness, though I understand if you can't offer it, because this apology is long overdue. I want to publicly apologize to the Patel family for a misunderstanding with their young male family member at their hotel, Studio 6 and Motel 6 on Lafayette Parkway in Lagrange Georgia. I became an official resident of Lagrange, Ga around December 2024, and I don't intend to give a further explanation of what happened at Your Lafayette Parkway Motel 6 about 18 months ago. I never meant to disrespect your Lineage. I have immense RESPECT for the legacy your family has built and worked hard for. You are role models to someone like me, who migrated from Dominican Republic. I also apologize for the state I left the room in at Red Roof. I was very sick then, but don't want to make excuses. I was raised better than that, and my mother and Matrionic ancestors would be disappointed if they knew I'd shown such disregard for your hospitality and for welcoming me to your amazing businesses and hometown. Making amends and never acting that way again is a conscious effort embedded in me from birth. I'm not a disrespectful person, and should have considered your hard work and tenure. We arrived after midnight and were too exhausted to go elsewhere, even though the first room had dead roaches. The next morning, I found five live roaches in the sticky trap. Yes, I travel with bug protection! We changed rooms, and the new one was much cleaner with no bugs. If you're on a tight budget, this place will do. Next time I'll spend more and use my Marriott or Hilton rewards.

The room felt a little dated, which I actually tend to like. Refurbished rooms can feel a bit soulless. I was staying for a little while to get a sense of the area before moving, and Rin at the check-in desk was really helpful with local insight and suggestions for places to eat. That was rad.
