The paths overlooking the Pacific were beautiful, and whether you’re enjoying the rooms, dining, or just taking a walk, the coastal setting is lovely. The grounds are well maintained, with ocean views all around, and the property feels both luxurious and serene. At The Montage Laguna Beach, everything from arrival onward was warm, attentive, and impeccably handled. Thoughtful details make the experience feel special without feeling pretentious. It’s truly a place that exceeds expectations and leaves you already planning another visit.

The beach setup feels almost private, and on a beautiful day the beach reminds me of Hawaii. Across the property, the team is graceful and attentive, with everyone seeming genuinely committed to your experience. The welcome feels sincere from the moment you arrive, and the same service carries through every restaurant and experience. The spa was the highlight of my weekend, a lovely place with an amazing team. I booked a 60-minute prenatal massage, and it was so wonderful that I only wish I’d booked the 90-minute one. The property is beautiful and the staff are incredibly attentive.

I didn’t stay overnight, but I got a guest tour. Everyone I met was so nice, and it definitely has the feel of a top-tier resort hotel. I loved the smell of all the play life, and had a lovely walk around the ocean area. So beautiful!

My wife and I came away refreshed and impressed by the consistent care throughout our stay at The Monarch. It’s our go-to for a luxurious, stress-free Laguna Beach escape. The property is modern and elegant, with lovely coastal views and a great location. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, a perfect place to unwind after exploring. From arrival to our last morning coffee, everything was handled flawlessly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, and made us feel welcome and cared for at every turn. It was an exceptional stay.
