There’s a lovely turndown service at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, and coming back to chocolates was a treat. I also liked the sustainability efforts around the property. Before heading home, stop by the shop for attractive merchandise and unique gifts. The grounds feel like a lush, hidden oasis in the canyon, just across the street from the beach. The buildings are spaced out so your room feels private, almost like your own villa, and it had everything we needed. The setting is stunning, but the consistently friendly, accommodating staff stood out most. I only wish I’d had more time. I highly recommend it for a unique Laguna getaway and can’t wait to return.

The grounds at The Ranch at Laguna Beach are beautiful and peaceful, and the restaurants served tasty, good-quality food. The location is within walking distance of the beach and near local conveniences. Staff were great from arrival through the whole stay. My family will definitely return to this hidden gem.

We enjoyed drinks and a bite on the porch at night, listening to live music, and look forward to returning to play the property’s nine-hole golf course. The Ranch at Laguna is a great place to enjoy Laguna’s quirky charm with the full service of a hotel or resort. The canyon setting is gorgeous, and the beach is a short walk down the road, though that road is currently under construction. There’s a pedestrian walkway under PCH, and beach chairs and umbrellas are available at the beach cafe connected to the Ranch. We appreciated the relaxed feel alongside full service, and the well-appointed room had a comfortable bed and bedding. The shower was great, with strong water pressure. Everything felt well done.

Sage at the front desk welcomed us so warmly, and the whole team, drivers included, had a real “at your service” attitude. The hospitality was outstanding, and we can’t wait to come back. The Ranch is a true gem, tucked between beautiful mountains but only a few minutes’ walk from the beach. We loved our stay and highly recommend it for a getaway.

Karim at the front desk really came through for me, printing some crucial documents at 5:30 am before an important meeting. The staff were great throughout, and the steak at the lobby restaurant was incredible. The place is tucked into the hills, with easy beach access, and it made for a really peaceful stay.
