Holiday Inn Express I-95 Capitol Beltway-Largo

I woke the next morning with a sore throat, and the bathroom vent was covered in dust and mold. I photographed it and showed the desk manager, who offered to refund that night. I didn’t feel that was enough compensation for the room’s condition. The Wi-Fi also had problems, and the TV remote’s power button didn’t work, so I had to leave the TV on all night.

The always-available coffee and tea station downstairs came in handy, and there’s also a clean laundry room open around the clock. Washing and drying cost $2.00 each, quarters only, and the front desk can make change. The staff up front were really friendly. The comfortable stay was just what we needed on the way to NY, and I enjoyed it enough that I’d come back.

I always seem to sleep like a baby at a Holiday Inn, and this time was no different. The water was piping hot, just how I like it. We booked at the last minute and arrived on Christmas Eve for the cowboys vs commanders game. The hotel was nice and clean despite the holiday staffing being low, and breakfast was nice too. Our group of about 10 all found something to eat. Thank you!

We were here for a week, but we’re moving to another location for the rest of our time in the area. The room wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great: it wasn’t very clean, the sink wouldn’t drain, and the TV didn’t work. Photos show dirty walls and carpet, plus cables everywhere. We didn’t try to get a different room because we checked in late, had an early start, and the beds looked decent and clean. Breakfast was the usual, though something about the food put me off. Hard to explain, but the gravy looked like it had been refrigerated and then just warmed up.
