Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista

The in-house bar and restaurant were the best part of my stay. Jairo was a great bartender, and we had a really nice conversation. I loved the espresso martini and shrimp pasta. Thanks again, Jairo, for a fantastic visit. The hotel is in an excellent spot, very close to Disney Springs, with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Araceli and Henry were always kind and attentive, and Chef Julio went above and beyond. Even though huevos perico and tostones weren't on the menu, he offered to make them for us. That thoughtful gesture really made a difference. Thank you to the excellent staff at Crowne Plaza. The kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed the room and the delicious breakfast buffet, which had great variety and quality. We had a wonderful weekend with the family, and the location near Walt Disney World made things so convenient. We'll be back in 2027 for our next vacation.

The room cleanliness and the lack of communication from staff really let me down. We told them it was our honeymoon and hoped at least for a clean room, but it wasn't. After asking the front desk to have it cleaned, we went out for food and spent the evening elsewhere. We spent our first night showering in a dirty shower. It took three days for someone to explain that the cleaning staff leave around check-in time and that requests would be handled the next day. The facilities were well used, with peeling walls and room numbers. I know those things happen, but combined with the cleanliness and poor communication, the stay was disappointing. We had high hopes because this was an IHG perk for booking our wedding stay, and we even added an extra night to use it as our honeymoon. We also sat through a timeshare presentation. After this experience, there was no chance they were getting my money. They can say whatever they want about the facilities, but once they have your money, they're not keen on delivering. Staff at the desk were generally very kind when present, which is why I haven't rated it lower. It's close-ish to restaurants and the location isn't bad, just not a nice stay. If you can stay elsewhere, do that and make your vacation better.

The room was large, but not well maintained. I found a clogged shower on the morning I checked out, and it was likely left that way from the previous guest. Standing in a pool of your own soup while showering isn't much of a resort experience. If something goes wrong, don't expect staff to help. I tried being nice and understanding, but got nowhere. There were about $70 in fees that weren't stated up front: a $40 resort and parking fee, plus $25 per person for breakfast. Seriously consider spending a little more to stay elsewhere. If the other place costs less than $70 more per night, you'd actually save money. I have a single-day receipt showing the added fees.
