The Hotel Zamora

The free golf cart ride to a private or public beach was handy, and chairs, towels, and an umbrella were supplied. The valet team was quick and efficient, and Lee was fantastic. Our third-floor balcony suite, 310B, was great for a long weekend, with Gulf Coast sunset views and a street vibe. The pool bar was awesome, and the on-site restaurant was fantastic for brunch and dinner. The rooftop bar is a must-see during your stay. It’s a pristine, clean, tastefully updated Florida gem, and my wife thought it was beautiful too. You can’t go wrong with a romantic weekend here as a couple. Respectfully, KJ

We bought a day pass at The Hotel Zamora and had a wonderful time by the pool. Craig looked after us all day, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and being attentive throughout. The pool has sunny and shaded spots, so it was easy to relax comfortably, and the included kayaks were a fun extra. Dinner at Azura Coastal Kitchen was a lovely end to the day. Kelsey was kind, personable, and attentive. Thanks to the whole team for making it so memorable. We can’t wait to come back.

If you’re coming to St. Pete to spend your stay at the beach, this hotel isn’t a good fit. It has no beach access, and it’s a long walk, though they do offer golf cart rides there from morning until 6. You’ll need a car because there’s not much nearby. Everything was at least a 10-15 minute walk, and this far south on the beach feels like a wasteland. The staff were all very nice, and the rooftop is decent. But the place feels dated, including the pool, even though there seems to have been some kind of remodel. Resort fees still apply, and for roughly the same price you can stay at a beach resort with more amenities and access. We’d only stay here again if the price were half as much and the resort fees were waived or included.

The hotel’s style and friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. We liked the pool and patio, the restaurant was good quality, and the location made it easy to get around Pete beach and over to St Pete. The room cleaning was inconsistent, though. We were given the wrong number of towels several times, and the cleaning wasn’t very thorough. It didn’t seem like they swept at all. Even so, it was still good value for the area.
