Marriott's Sabal Palms

We weren’t vacation club members, but we were very impressed and happy with our stay. Housekeeping unexpectedly tidied the room and brought fresh towels several times. The resort is beautiful and spacious, and being able to walk five minutes to the World Center for coffee or snacks was a nice perk. We may try Imperial Palms next time to get a three-bedroom unit, but this stay has us looking back to Marriott for our next trip.

Having a two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen on a lovely golf course was a great change from the Marriot hotel tower. It’s quiet, with few children, and the price is very fair, lower than the tower. If you like golf, give the attached Hawks Landing a try. You’ll be pleased.

The days moved at an easy pace, and the rooms stayed quiet. Everything was clean and spacious, and it was easy to settle in and slow down. The staff were kind without hovering. Peaceful mornings, even better evenings. I left feeling rested and reset.

Edwin and Glaucie are wonderful hosts, and all the lobby staff were lovely. The resort is quiet, well kept, and somewhat renovated. As Vistana owners, we liked the well-appointed rooms, with new paint, windows, doors, and appliances. It’s become one of my top five Marriott stays in the Orlando area. There’s a good-sized pool and gym, open until 11 p.m. daily, plus basketball, tennis, grills, shuffleboard, chess, ping pong, and a gorgeous golf course. You can also use the amenities at World Center Marriott, which is a big plus. Across the way, World Center has mini-golf and a game room. Parking is included for owners, and the adjacent water park charges admission. The property has many accessible features, but could use more accessible parking spaces. There are only two near the rear buildings. Stop by the lobby and say hello to the hosts!
