Quality Inn & Suites Lake Charles South

There is no breakfast, even though they lie about it. The plugs look like they could catch fire, and the coffee pot doesn’t work either. I’d go somewhere else for tonight if I hadn’t already booked ahead and paid. This is ridiculous!

The room I had was very clean, though I can’t speak for the others. The lobby looked clean too, but had an odor. Open staff-only rooms, such as the laundry area, and the hallways looked at least cluttered. Front desk staff were fine. My service rating is low because the elevator is out, there were no "do not disturb" signs, the pool wasn’t available, and breakfast wasn’t available. The location also seemed like a shady neighborhood. If the hotel didn’t have strictly indoor entrances, I wouldn’t stay here.

Very nasty, just trash. The pillows had mold, the comforter had blood stains, and the fitted sheets were tan instead of white. There were cigarette burns on the bedding, people smoking in the rooms and hallway, and cobwebs around the walls and windows.

The room was in awful shape, and the elevator wasn't working. The refrigerator was rusty inside, smelled bad, and didn't get cold; the lamps didn't work either. There was a terrible patchwork repair and discoloration on the ceiling, and the floor near the AC felt like it could give way any second. The mirror looked untouched, the bedspread was stained, and I didn't feel the room was clean. There was hair on the shower walls, pubic hair on the towels, and one towel felt wet. Getting checked in took ages because the front desk clerk was nowhere to be seen for the first 10 minutes. I'm so disappointed. We were exhausted from traveling, otherwise we'd have asked for our money back and left. Please don't stay here.
