Super 8 by Wyndham Lake Charles Northeast

When I came to check in, my one question was whether there would be roaches in my room. She couldn’t answer no. Instead, she said that if I was so picky I should go to another hotel. Is asking for no roaches really picky? Then she said I’d have to pay for the first night if I canceled. I’ll be back with more once I find a hotel without roaches.

There was a decent breakfast, but they didn’t have any cups for juice. At night it was incredibly noisy, and I’m guessing other guests were smoking because the smell came right into our room.

The room smelled awful, the bathroom was dirty, there were a couple of holes in the wall, the door lock was missing, and there was blood on the window. The entrance to the room was dirty and covered in dust. I got sick, my nose started running, and I had to leave after just 4hrs.

We’re still waiting for our deposit, even a week later, and we won’t be coming back to this location. The incense smell in the room was so strong it was overwhelming. We had no towels, so we had to get them from the front desk. One in the stack was dirty, and the floor towel had holes. The location left a lot to be desired, and the staff member checking us in was unfriendly and made us feel like a bother.
