The area was quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the room smelled like marijuana as soon as we walked in. The comforter had something dry and crusty on it, so we took it off the bed, and the carpet had stains in several spots. Still, it was a good stay otherwise.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and newly renovated, and the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, and the motel is conveniently located near our family reunion venue and shopping centers.

My Dad was displaced after the place where he worked recently exploded in Roseland Louisiana. He was staying here in his work truck and asked the front desk where he could get food nearby, since he was in a big truck. They gave him the information, then stopped what they were doing and took him to get something to eat. I believe the owners were the ones who helped him, and they went far out of their way. I’m so grateful. Thank you so much. We need more kindness like that in the world!

It was a cheap place to spend the night, with bugs and an old motel that seemed to have had little more than a paint job. It had a new name, The Howard Johnson, but didn’t feel anything like a luxury hotel.

The receptionist working that night was nice, but the cleaning crew weren’t polite. There’s no elevator, and the chemical smell was so strong I felt like they should warn guests to wear a MASK so they don’t get CHOKED by it. The cleaning crews must wear one. When I tried to book another stay, they immediately said they were full. It wasn’t good value for the price.
