Deer Path Inn

We came for an early dinner and had bone marrow, steak frites, and red wine. Everything was well prepared, and I’d eat here again. The room was lively and full, but we were seated in good time. Service was thoughtful and professional. Great for a date or a get-together with friends. I’ll be back 😁

The only thing I’d consider upgrading is the shower fixtures. Both the shower head and handheld have weak pressure. Still, this hotel is a gem, and the location works well for me since my family is spread across the Chicago suburbs. I adore the cozy interior, great rooms, comfortable beds, and amazing bath products. The dining options are great, valet is fast, and room service is quick and hassle-free.

We provided photo booth services at a beautiful wedding at Deer Path Inn, and had a great time. The team was welcoming, professional, and accommodating, and there was plenty of room for our setup and for guests to enjoy taking photos. The elegant setting and well-organized staff made it a joy to work there. We’d love to bring our photo booth back to Deer Path Inn.

At my brother’s wedding reception at Deer Path Inn, parking was difficult to find. Valet was available, but I prefer not to use it. The bigger issue was food safety. Several of my siblings and I have serious allergies, and cross-contamination could be fatal. We called and emailed ahead, and were assured there would be no nuts or gluten. But those allergens were present when we arrived. The couple and my siblings had both passed the information along to the Inn, so there was no reason it should have been missed. This needs to be taken seriously. A smaller complaint, the servers took our champagne within the first five minutes and didn’t offer our table any bread. I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t go again.
