Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Lake Geneva Resort by IHG

We stayed in the one-bedroom villa for our anniversary and loved both the room and its fully equipped kitchen. Guests could use all the amenities at the grand Geneva. Waterpark passes weren’t included, but at $35 per person they were a great deal. A trolley runs to the areas farther from the villas. We knew when booking that there’d be no room service during our stay, but the room had enough of everything that we never needed to call the front desk. We’ll definitely return.

It was quiet and accommodating, and I loved the golf course view. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable, even for someone like me who can be fussy. Going over to the main resort, Grand Geneva, for its many amenities was never a bother. Sandy, who checked us in, was so pleasant. We’ll be back!

The place can be a little confusing to navigate at first, but it was WELL WORTH sorting out. I stayed two nights with my daughter over spring break. There was a separate bedroom for me, a pull-out sofa for her, and a full kitchen and bathroom, plus a washer and dryer in the unit. Cleanliness let us down a bit: there was urine around the base of the toilet and lots of dead or half-dead bugs in the window sills. The kitchen had everything we could need, including dishes, cleaning supplies, appliances, a toaster, and a blender, plus a vacuum. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the golf course. We asked for extra blankets through their texting system, and they were delivered while we were out. We got half-day waterpark passes and enjoyed it, though we were glad to go early. From 9-12 was enough for my 11 year old; it got increasingly crowded and loud, and we left at lunch. There are trolleys that can take you anywhere on the property, which is great if you're drinking, but we didn’t use them. There was plenty of parking near the buildings we wanted to visit. On our first drive in, I followed a trolley to find the registration desk because that part was a bit confusing. We saved a ton by staying here instead of at the resort with the water park, and could still do all the activities we wanted. They offer so much that you’d need a whole week to do it all. HIGHLY recommend.

The separate bedroom worked wonderfully with our two children, and having a full kitchen meant we could make breakfast. The room suited what we needed, but the walls were incredibly thin and we could hear everyone around us. Sandra at Grand Geneva was incredible throughout check-in and checkout, and explained the on-property amenities so well that she made the whole experience wonderful.
