Travelodge by Wyndham Lake Havasu

The lake view from my room was lovely, and the room itself was modern. The staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. O was especially kind and took great care of me at check-in. I come to Lake Havasu every year for the rockabilly reunion event, and I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, great staff, and a clean room with a comfy king bed, a new bathroom, a nice TV, and a good view. The A/C worked perfectly. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, begals, bread, juice, coffee, tea, and milk. The price was perfect too. Totally coming back!

The room was nice, clean, and looked newly remodeled. The stay was good apart from the lack of accessible rooms that allow pets. My husband uses a wheelchair, so I booked an accessible room for him. I called on arrival day to mention our dog, and the person I spoke to thanked me. Ten minutes later, they called back to say there was no accessible room available, even though I’d already booked one. They moved us into a regular room because of the dog, and he couldn’t get his wheelchair into the bathroom, which made things harder. I told them that if my dog were a service dog, they’d have to let it stay in an accessible room. The woman said they wouldn’t, because a handicapped room should be sanitary for a handicapped person. I looked it up, and a service dog can stay in a room that isn’t designated for pets, and they can’t charge a cleaning fee for it. My dog isn’t a service dog, though.

The location was great, and the room worked for what we needed. I’d stayed there before, but this time Ophelia at the front desk really stood out. She was fun to talk with at check-in and made us feel welcome. The next morning, I went to the lobby, said “good morning” to the receptionist, and heated up my leftover breakfast from the day before in its restaurant go box. She came over and asked, “Are you heating up my food?” I thought maybe she’d left something out and figured I’d taken it by mistake. I joked that the pancakes were mine, but they were so good I’d share. It wasn’t until I sat down that I realized she’d come over specifically to ask me that. I couldn’t understand how she thought I’d taken her food. Had I gone into the staff area, grabbed her Styrofoam container, talked to her, then tried to eat it? I was dressed pretty well, actually the best dressed person in the breakfast area, so it baffled me. I don’t want to assume anything, since only she knows why she asked. Ophelia was such a delight that even her coworker couldn’t spoil the great impression she left.
