The hosts were engaging, attentive, and really helpful, which made our two-night visit to Lightner Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast feel special. Breakfast was a highlight both mornings, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Our room had plenty of character and felt fun and authentic, while still being comfortable and relaxing. Everything was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. For a charming getaway with personal touches and such good hospitality, we'd absolutely return.

Steven and his wife Theresa were wonderful hosts, and the house is a great base close to everything. We arrived very late because of traffic, but Steven kept in touch and stayed up so we could get inside as soon as we got there. Breakfast was delicious every morning. He was also very helpful in arranging a private battlefield tour at the last minute. It's a perfect place for a truly authentic experience, and I couldn't recommend it more.

The breakfasts were wonderful, actually the best food we tasted in all of Gettysburg. The owners were on site, very friendly, and accommodating. The place is beautiful and cozy, with lovely grounds. Our rooms had everything we could have needed, and the location was so close to everything. We're anxious to go back!

Steve & Teressa are superb inn keepers, and Steve is a walking encyclopedia of historical information. Expect a good breakfast each morning, and comfortable, clean rooms. It's a very short, easy drive to the Gettysburg Battlefield, visitors center, and town. If you're planning a battlefield tour, book with a licensed battlefield tour guide when you book your stay at the Lightner Farmhouse. It's worth it. My wife and I stayed two nights, July 2nd-3rd, while vacationing.

Breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best I've had. Steven and Theresa were such lovely hosts, and the rooms were very clean and nice. The bed and breakfast has fascinating history and a prime location for Gettysburg. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.
