Travelodge by Wyndham Parsippany

We booked for four days but left after one. It wasn’t somewhere we could sleep or relax comfortably. The bed sheets had stains, the refrigerator smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and there were no curtains in the bathroom. The location also felt unsafe. When we told the front desk, they said it was Christmas and the housekeeper had forgotten to put up the curtain. That’s ridiculous.

I couldn’t sleep all night, disgusted by the room and worried because I’m allergic to insect bites, including spider bites. I’m asthmatic too, and the dirt felt suffocating. The floor was wet, dirty, and unswept, and I couldn’t walk barefoot for fear of catching something. The microwave was too dirty to use. There was grime overflowing from the bathroom vent, black cobwebs all over the room, and graffiti and filth on the wardrobe. The safe had come away from the wall, the thermostat was broken, the main light switch didn’t work, and the walls were cracked. It’s unacceptable to treat anyone like cattle. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Not even in Africa did anything like this happen to me.

We were running out of options at midnight when I stayed on 12 October 2025. They charged us 170 dollar for one room. I’m attaching videos of the room, because its condition didn’t justify that price. The wash basin tap was broken and the lamp lights didn’t work. Ideally, the customer should get the extra amount refunded.

I’d never been to Jersey, and booked a romantic room with a jacuzzi in advance from Orlando fla. My flight and rental car made me arrive late, then I drove from Allen town,PA. The floors were wet, there was a broken finger nail in the bed, and mold on the windows and curtains. The area felt bad, so I asked for a refund and didn’t get shit. Whatever, I went to a nicer, more expensive hotel and had a great time with my now fiancé.
