Courtyard by Marriott Lake Jackson

We come to Lake Jackson six to twelve times each year and always choose this Courtyard. The rooms are clean, roomy, and comfortable, and we usually book the Two Room King Suite. The pool is very nice. The Bistro on site could be more consistent about how it prepares food, but whenever an issue comes up, the management team has handled it fairly and promptly.

The courtyard was lovely to spend time in, and the room and bed were clean and very comfortable. I didn't use the lobby or bar, but there was lots of seating with private TVs. It was quiet, felt safe, and made for a great stay.

Everything was clean, with no roaches, and the service from the front desk was amazing!

The breakfast was the part we didn't like. My husband and I paid over $30 for a burrito and eggs prepared your way with bacon that was almost burnt. When I asked the Bistro worker for new bacon, he said it would take 30 to 45 minutes, so I asked for sausage instead. The portions are small and the options limited. In my opinion, breakfast should be included as a hotel amenity. Our room was ready hours before check-in, which impressed me. I gave it four stars because it smelled musty when we walked in, and I had to spray perfume to cover the odor. The hotel itself was great and the location is prime. Most of all, thanks to receptionist Jessica. Her lovely smile and personality made us feel appreciated as Marriott members. It's been fun, Lake Jackson. Next time we're back for business, we'll visit Ms Jessica and skip the Bistro food. Till then,
