We just finished filming a beautiful wedding at Inn on Lake Lure, and it’s a dream location for wedding videographers. The light bouncing off the lake gives film a soft, almost ethereal glow, and the Inn’s rustic but refined architecture feels warm and inviting. From views over the Blue Ridge foothills to peaceful paths by the water, the property is full of lovely places to capture memories. It was a pleasure working alongside the other vendors, too. Everyone was kind, professional, and easy to work with, which made the whole experience wonderful. We love filming here. For a bride planning a wedding at Inn on Lake Lure, expect a serene, timeless setting surrounded by the mountains and water. The slower pace makes it easy to take in all those romantic moments against the beautiful scenery. Molly, M&P Weddings and Films.

We had so much room for activities at Lake Lure Inn and Spa, with loads of backdrop options for a wedding. I officiated one there, and it was breathtaking. The Christmas trees were still glowing in early January, giving everything an almost cinematic feel. There’s an antique staircase, a beautifully decorated fireplace, and a spacious reception hall that can handle large celebrations indoors or outdoors, with plenty of space for eating, dancing, and all the happy moments in between. It was all clean and thoughtfully laid out, with lots of parking. The staff were warm, and the chef was generous. Everything was organized, and it was genuinely lovely to watch. Any couple choosing this venue will be ecstatic. It’s unforgettable and worth every penny. Maybe I'll see you there!

Johnny’s cabin was such a cool place to stay, with a huge carved four-poster king bed, a nice jacuzzi, and a fun bar area. Since the lake was drained, we got to explore the lake bottom, which was really cool. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and Chimney Rock is even closer and more important. We had the best time. Do yourself a favor and book Johnny’s cabin!

We got married at this Inn last weekend, and the wedding was absolutely perfect. Our guests are still talking about the dinner from the events menu, and the Moose and Goose Lounge was ideal for anyone wanting a drink or a small bite during their stay. The venue spaces are stunning and beautifully decorated. The staff were the best part for us: welcoming, kind, talented, knowledgeable, and so accommodating. They were incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. We also rented a cabin and were impressed by how comfortable it was. They’ve thought of everything, including little touches like nice robes and makeup remover that made it feel special. Thanks for making our day so wonderful. It’s a great spot for a wedding or a weekend away!

Sonya’s care, attention to detail, and professionalism made us feel supported and at ease throughout the process. Megan seemed to anticipate what we needed and kept everything running smoothly, while Laura, Chrissy, and Julie made us and our guests feel special and well looked after. Matthew prepared the perfect prime rib, and people are still raving about it, the venue, and the whole experience. The setting at The 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa is breathtaking, romantic, and full of timeless charm. Every part of the day, from the ceremony through the reception, went perfectly. We couldn’t have imagined a better place for our wedding, and we’ll always be grateful for the memories. Joe & Michelle Hunter
