Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Clackamas

I’d book here again if I needed a relaxing spot. The rooms are really nice, with silverware and bowls, and the bathroom has a great walk-in shower. There are good breakfast options too. I usually have Greek yogurt with all the nuts on top. The front desk associate was super nice and helped without getting annoyed when my key didn’t work on the first day, just as I came in with my hands full. I wasn’t given a coffee pot in my room, but there’s coffee downstairs 24 hours a day. The beds felt stiff and need replacing, since I’m used to a plush bed. The wind outside made it hard to sleep that first night, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

I’ve stayed here for work many times, and my rooms have always been spotless. They’re clean, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. I’d recommend it if you want a comfortable place to end the day while traveling.

I’d already resigned myself to the inconvenience when I found out the two rooms I’d booked through a third-party site were on different floors. I hadn’t realized I needed to request rooms together, and I hadn’t seen that option on the site. My family needed two rooms at once, so I told Aura at the front desk I was disappointed, though I figured it was my mistake. Before I’d even finished unloading, she found us rooms on the same floor and saved us the hassle. She was so kind about it. Thanks from me and my parents, Aura!

For anyone looking for a hotel off 205, this is the one. The room was squeaky clean, and you could tell they’d cleaned it. When you walk in, the TV welcomes you by name. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, and check-in was quick. This is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Sincerely, the guest who checked out of 205 this morning, 12/20/25.
