Quality Inn

The worst problem in Room 222 was the door. It wouldn't stay shut unless we turned the deadbolt. You could push or pull it open without touching the handle, no matter how firmly you closed it. Around 9 a.m., a teenage boy helping the housekeeper walked straight into our room without knocking while I was in the bathroom. There were other issues too. The fitted sheet wasn't clean, with red stains along the edge and another mark on the main part; I photographed one of the edges. There was no toilet paper holder or towel rack, so housekeeping left those items on top of the toilet tank. The bath fan had no cover, looked disgusting, and didn't work. The tub faucet leaked all night and was starting to strip the painted finish. It took about 10 minutes for the bathroom sink to drain. Staff were friendly, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless there's nowhere else to go.

It was bright outside our room, and that light came in more than we like. I get that it's there for safety, and rooms in other areas might not have the same issue. Otherwise, the room was updated, very clean, and had a comfortable bed with great bedding. Breakfast was good. Go ahead and book.

The place has recently been remodeled, so the furnishings feel fresh and new. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the linens clean too. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and I liked that fresh, clean smell when I first walked in. I still hate that owners are choosing vinyl floors over carpet. Even when housekeeping cleans them well, my feet pick up dirt, so I have to wear socks. It doesn't save them money if rain outside means I need to put down guest towels. Vinyl just doesn't feel homey. Even people in Florida put a rug under the bed so your feet land on carpet first.

Our pets were welcomed with open arms, and the customer service was awesome, so friendly and happy. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were amazing! We used the hotel pillows instead of the ones we brought, so you don't need to pack your own. This is our new favorite place to stop.
