The location is good and walkable, but the service was about two stars. The room really needs renovation, especially the carpet, which looked so dirty and unpleasant that I felt uncomfortable walking on it. The wood ceiling was one of the nicer parts, second only to the bathroom, which was clean and the most comfortable space. I honestly don't understand why they spent money on a wood ceiling instead of replacing the worn carpet, which would have done much more for the room. I'd give the place only 1.5 to 2 stars at best.

We've been returning for over 20 years, and each stay seems better. We always book the Mountain View suite, with its beautiful view of the 7 peaks. The enormous room has two queen beds, a balcony, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of seating with a table and chairs. In the morning there are hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and several breakfast snacks. The lobby has comfortable seating by a fireplace, and all the front desk staff are very pleasant. We'll keep coming back for many years.

The mattresses were really awful, very saggy and in need of replacement. If you're of a certain age, you'll wake up sore. Otherwise, the room was squeaky clean, the location is great, and staff we met were very nice. Free breakfast includes oatmeal, muffins, and more, with hot coffee and tea available all the time.

An older resort-style motel, kept up really well. Super clean, and the scenery is awesome. Great place.
