We only needed somewhere to sleep for one night while passing through, and we managed, but I wouldn't return or recommend it. The place is beside the WaWa, though the neighborhood felt sketchy. Finding the office was confusing since there was no sign in the parking lot and it was tucked under the stairs. The room looked worn and dated, with holes in the walls, missing molding, stains on the bathroom wall, and cheap, mismatched furniture. Pulling the bedstand away from the wall revealed a lot of dirt and dust. Somehow there were no bedbugs, and the wall art was hung upside down.

The owners seem compassionate toward people dealing with difficult circumstances. If you're in a tough spot and need somewhere to stay, this place is OK.

I can't recommend this motel. The shower couldn't be used because of the thick grime, and the curtains felt like they hadn't been washed. Mold and dirt were everywhere, including inside the air conditioner. They really need to do a much better job cleaning, and I'd tell anyone to stay far away.

The staff's attitude and the prices made this feel like a terrible deal. I paid $72.66 for one night, then the next night it had jumped to $100.00. That's a lot for a one-star room, especially when the service was so unprofessional and the woman at the desk had a nasty attitude. I spilled water on my blanket the first night and asked to exchange it. Since it was after 10pm, she refused and told me to put it on the floor in the corner. When the toilet backed up the following night, I went to ask for a plunger. Again, she said it was too late, this time because it was almost 10pm. It's overpriced and not worth a penny of what she's charging. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

The only good parts were the strong shower pressure and having a Wawa next door. I was here for work and mostly needed a place to sleep, but I left feeling robbed. After many calls to the parent company using the 800 number on my e-receipt, I eventually got back about 25% of the cost of my stay. For a budget motel my expectations were already low, and this still went far beyond what I expected. I will never stay here again. The first room hit me with an overwhelming cigarette smell, even though I hadn't booked or requested a smoking room. The carpet was wet and the wall lights didn't work. I panicked and ran back to the office without even making it to the bathroom, asking for another room. The desk employee greeted me rudely again, and the next room was only a little better. Its dresser was broken and covered in what looked like paint, one bedside lamp worked, and the other was barely hanging on the wall. There were no outlets by the bed. The closet was just a narrow sliver, only useful for luggage, and had one hanger, so I used the desk for my clothes. That desk was right in front of the air conditioner, and its chair was broken. A broken floor slat in the middle of the room tripped me twice. The door lock didn't work. I wasn't too worried because opening or closing the door was already so difficult that I had to take a running start and throw myself against it. I'm not joking. In the bathroom there was no counter space, the towel rack was broken, and the towels were stained. I didn't ask for replacements, I went to a local Target and bought towels, wash cloths, and pillow cases instead. The bathroom had only a small light over the sink, so showering was basically done in the dark. I slept on top of the covers because I couldn't bring myself to use the sheets. The pillows felt like plastic bags stuffed with a few feathers, and the metal bed frame made a loud boom whenever I got on, got off, or moved. After the first night, I went back to Target and bought a pillow. One evening I saw the caretaker walking around with a large kitchen knife while helping another guest get back into their room. She told me they had no maintenance or cleaning staff and that she was trying to fix the guest's lock. She also said the owners gave them no support. I took anything of even slight value with me whenever I left the room.
