Comfort Inn & Suites Lakeland North I-4

Madeline greeted us cheerfully, even though we arrived at 1 a.m. The double queen suite was super clean, quiet, smoke-free, and well supplied. The beds were great, soft and dreamy but still supportive. The A/C was easy to control. It might annoy some people, but to me it sounds like my white noise app 😊 Heading down for the hot breakfast now.

Comfy room, clean throughout, hot breakfast, and a heated indoor pool. The hotel is right off I-4, which is handy. That’s the quick version for anyone looking. I really enjoyed my stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the heater and A/C responded quickly, and there was always someone at the front desk ready to talk. Definitely a great, clean hotel choice.

Rahee, the manager, handed out donuts from a local bakery on Saturday morning. When he found out I have to eat strictly gluten-free, he made sure there was a gluten-free donut for me the next morning. Kayla was also so welcoming, greeting us with a smile whenever we came or went. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the service outstanding. We had an amazing stay at Comfort Inn & Suites and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

Meghan and Ernesto (Meg & Erny) were wonderful throughout. Every time we dealt with them, they were respectful, patient, and understanding. Their service was truly 10/10, and I wish them both the best. I stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites for a few weeks. Things started fine, then went downhill quickly. Housekeeping kept complaining about our room for reasons that didn’t make sense, and the front desk repeatedly moved us and called it an “upgrade” until the cost became too much for us. The manager, Jay, has extremely poor customer service. Several other Black families staying there told us they felt the same, targeted by housekeeping and treated unfairly by management. The hotel doesn’t feel family-friendly, welcoming, or comfortable for Black guests. There’s no empathy or understanding. Everything seems to come down to money. As a Black person, I’m tired of being racially profiled when all I want is somewhere safe and comfortable to stay. I’ve shared my experience on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, and with corporate.
