There are restaurants, movie theaters, shops, and plenty more within walking distance, so it’s a great place to stay. What made the visit even better was Clara, who runs breakfast. She has such a warm, friendly personality and was kind to us and to all the other people passing through the lobby. Thanks, Clara, for making our visit great.

We got an early check-in around 1 pm, and the room was nice and clean. The front desk staff were friendly, and the free breakfast was nice. Ask when breakfast is served during check-in, since I didn’t see the times on the website or in our room. The woman running the breakfast area could use some courtesy training, or maybe just needs a vacation or a different job, lol. Her instructions and the way she spoke to everyone reminded me of the “soup Nazi” from Seinfeld. You’ll see what I mean. 😎 Aside from that, it was great.

The rooms are clean, roomy, and quiet, and the staff are friendly. We also like that dogs are welcome. We stay here when visiting family in Lakeland, since it’s in Lakeside Village shopping plaza with restaurants and stores. My complaint is the $4.77 daily parking charge from our latest visit. The parking is shared with the plaza and another hotel. I’d understand a fee if this were a standalone hotel with its own lot, but here it feels unnecessary. We enjoy staying here and plan to come back when we visit Lakeland.

The rooms are roomy, with a full fridge, and the staff were helpful and really nice. There’s also a nice outdoor hangout area with a fire pit. We had a great experience, and the breakfast was great too. A big pop-up market was going on Sunday, though I’m not sure if that happens regularly. My one complaint is that the coffee is very weak.

Alma got our room sorted quickly even though we arrived early. Service was excellent, and the location is great, with lots of shopping and places to eat within walking distance.
