I live here full time and have for more than a year and a half. The owners have left the property and moved overseas. There's no rental office, host, local agent, handyman, or super. The building is dirty, decaying, and smells of mildew and sadness. Of 22 units, only four of us are full-time residents now. Thinking of moving in or booking an Airbnb because the building looks cute and is well located? Don't. Short-term rentals are illegal here. If you book one, the room will be dirty and smell bad, the AC may be broken, the entry code likely won't work, and it can be nearly impossible to reach anyone about problems. If you do reach someone, they'll be rude, and getting your money back will be a challenge. If you move in full time, be handy, because you'll be fixing things yourself. Those five-star reviews from two years ago were all written around the same time by building employees.
