I went back downstairs after getting the bedding and stripping the beds. The guy asked how many people were in the room. I said two adults and two kids. He told me there was a charge for each person and it would be $22. I said there were two beds and two people could sleep in each. He replied that he could make me pay it right then, and if I couldn’t, he could make me leave. My boyfriend called for me to go upstairs and stay out of the guy’s face. For some reason he seemed to have it out for me. On 8/30/25, I got to room 252 by Uber and noticed the bedding on both beds looked dirty. I hurried my things upstairs, then went to the office for clean bedding. The guy said he didn’t feel like walking up to check and asked why I hadn’t brought the bedding down when I came. I said it was in case they told me, like a lot of hotels do, that they couldn’t give me linen. He opened the laundry room door and told me to take what I needed, so I did. I also noticed he was walking barefoot. When I went back to strip the beds, he knocked before I’d finished the second one, asking for the dirty linen. I told him I was working on it and would bring it down.

The room at the Relax Inn was clean and comfortable. I had a great stay and plan to come back.

The furniture in room 241 was awful, the room smelled like cigarettes and weed, and I saw roaches on the table. When we raised our concerns, the man working was rude and didn’t try to help. The customer service was very poor. My husband and I stayed at this motel twice. The first time, in room 233, the water was cold, and we reported it. On our second visit, we specifically asked for a particular room because we knew it wasn’t rented, but the man refused and put us in 241, where the water was cold too.

There were roaches, and the bed had a urine stain. It was disgusting, and the smell was unbearable.

The new management has improved this place a lot since a few years ago. The rooms are cleaner, the AC works better than ever, and there aren’t people on drugs running around. The people are really nice and friendly, too. Some of the quilts need replacing, but overall it’s much better than before. Thanks for a good night’s rest. Truly a good motel.
