Residence Inn by Marriott Lakeland

Tuesday on the evening shift and Phoebe in the morning make me feel like a friend in their own home, not just a hotel guest. They’re kind and go out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable. I travel for work and used to stay at another place when I came to Lakeland. Now that I’ve found this hotel, it’s the only one I’ll stay at here. They’ve set the bar so high that I haven’t found anyone else who matches them.

We’re locals and needed somewhere to stay for about a month while work was being done on our house. This place really felt like home. The staff made us feel comfortable and looked after from day one. Our kids were excited for breakfast every morning, and the women in the breakfast area were among the kindest, most caring people we’ve met. They were especially helpful during those early mornings with little ones. We had so many good conversations with Tuesday at the front desk. She’s amazing, and I feel like I’ve made a friend in her. Every housekeeper we met was kind and helpful. You can tell the staff enjoy their jobs and take pride in making guests feel welcome. The suite was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the full kitchen made a big difference for a long stay. Breakfast was good with a nice variety, and having it available even with a kitchen in the room was a real plus. The rooms were much cleaner than many hotels we’ve stayed in. The pool area was great, with inflatables for floating and for the kids to play with. The jacuzzi was really relaxing, and the gym was clean and well stocked. The whole stay was wonderful. We’ll stay again if we need to, and we’re Marriott members for life.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, including the breakfast team, who were just as nice when we talked with them. Our rooms were very clean. I told my husband we should ask for room 302 whenever we come to Lakeland each month. I didn’t use the pool, but I saw it, and it looked clean and refreshing.

We stayed here on our trip to Legoland, and the hot tub was incredible. It was worth the money. The staff were amazingly accommodating, sweet, sincere, and extremely nice. It was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been inside.
