Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Southwest/Lakewood

We picked it because the rate was competitive, and the location was central for what we needed. Costco, Walmart, and several restaurants were close by. But during our whole week, nobody once freshened the room, and it wasn't offered at check-in. The rooms were just eh, service was lacking, breakfast was less than eh, and parking could be difficult. I'm not sure we'd stay again, maybe we'll look at a Hilton.

The waffle station at breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast itself was awesome. Service was great too. Thanks, Kyeira, and thanks to the Sunday check-in employee whose name I can't remember, I think it started with S. They wore glasses and had short curly hair. I'm grateful to you both. The location was convenient, close to the highway and just a few minutes from stores.

We were in the area for a concert at Red Rocks, and this place worked well, with affordable options for mountain views where you can see Red Rocks. The staff were friendly, and there's a snack shop for last-minute needs. Everything met or exceeded our standards except breakfast. It's free, so I don't expect much, but better breakfast would make it five stars. A great place to stay in Denver.

The place had a cheap feel, with bare-looking rooms and lobby that seemed like they'd run out of decorating money. There wasn't complimentary water in the room or when we arrived. Our room kept swinging between hot and cold, the AC was really loud, the bathroom door slammed shut on its own, and the pillows were awful. We were very disappointed.
