Lamesa Motel

The young woman on site was so friendly and helpful, and the manager called after we checked in to see if we were comfortable or needed anything. That was appreciated. The place looks a little sketchy from outside, but the enclosed parking is well lit, and you can park right by your door. It's a small lot, but workable. Inside, it was clean and comfortable. I liked having two separate rooms, each with a bed, TV, and restroom door. A few things were missing: no outlet in the bathroom for a blow dryer or curling iron, no coffee maker or hair dryer, and no rugs, so the floor felt freezing on a cold night. There was a floor lamp but no bedside lamp, meaning I had to get out of bed to switch it off. I'd still stay again. Thanks!

It felt like staying at a friend's place for the weekend. The staff made an effort to treat you like family, and they got a noisy group to quiet down without any trouble. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. It's an older motel and could use some freshening up, especially the bathrooms, but it was nice enough. I had to call, and a clerk was there right away.

For a really cheap night, this was a pretty good stop. The room had a full fridge, cable TV, microwave, and other basics, with tile floors instead of carpet and a comfortable bed. It was dog friendly, and I noticed security cameras all over. The rooms were surprisingly nice for a little town I hadn't expected much from. Not a four-star hotel, but I can't complain for what it is.

The outside didn't look very inviting when I arrived, but the warm welcome and small-town friendliness won me over. My room had been remodeled recently, was spacious, and came with a comfortable bed, huge flat-screen TV, and fantastic bathroom. The owner was friendly and clearly cared that I had a pleasant stay. I felt very welcome and appreciated the extra effort with customer service. I'll return whenever I'm in the area. Thank you.
