The hosts were kind and tried to help, but the room was in the 90s when we arrived and took hours to cool down. They knew we were coming, so the AC should have been on ahead of time. Finding the place was difficult too, since the signs are so small and high up that you can’t see them from the car. The bathroom lighting was poor, the coverlet was soiled, and the shower grout was black with mold. The owners were very nice, but the place needs improvements. I don’t think we’ll return.

The hosts were great, and email replies came within minutes. The place is right in the heart of Saugerties, a really nice village with lots to do within walking distance. Several prime Catskill spots are less than half an hour away. And I had the best shower I’ve ever taken. Excellent stay.

The room was very nice, and the location is perfect for HITS. There’s an ice cream shop right below, which can be a little dangerous. It’s a cute old building, though the floors slope noticeably. Don’t expect turndown service or much else, this just isn’t that sort of place.

The Noho room was clean, with a very nice bathroom. The shower had good pressure and a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, plus a TV with DirecTV. Parking is included in the lot behind the property.

It’s clean and comfortable, with no problems, but it doesn’t really feel like an “inn.” It’s a good choice if you’re visiting the local bars and restaurants. Finding the parking at night was difficult. Go down the one-way entrance to village parking; it’s on the right just past the parking on that side. Turn right and look for the wooden fence. To leave, turn right as you exit the village inn parking area.
