The bathroom was disgusting, with a filthy toilet and bathtub. The staff were unfriendly, and the breakfast they advertise is just coffee and juice. The whole hotel feels run down. I can't recommend it, and I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down or that Wyndham allows a place like this.
The sheets and towels were clean, the mattresses and pillows were nice, and it was quiet. The ice machine kept up, too. The office clerk was nice, and at $75 it was cheap, but there was no fridge, microwave, or hairdryer. We were driving from Wisconsin to Florida with food and soda in the car that needed chilling, and meals we needed to microwave. We had to go a few miles into a scary, poorly lit, depressed little town. Skip the 'grocery store' and go to Dollar General. The bathroom floor and door were dirty, so we decided not to shower. By the sink, only one bulb worked at about 25%, and it hummed and flickered. There was a neat retro lamp, but it was totally rusted.
The staff are absolutely amazing and super nice, and they've taken care of any issues we've had. The hotel itself could use some upgrades, but the staff deserve 1000/10.
They were friendly and helped me with whatever service I needed. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.
The people I dealt with on staff were great. The shower was the worst part, though. It hadn't been cleaned, and there was hair stuck to the wall and tub. The latch on the door was loose, and the outlet and light by the sink didn't work. Apart from the staff, the stay was horrible.
